Duster Dress in Sandstoneblluemade
Our new dress style is versatile enough to be worn on it's own or as a duster. Details like an extended cuff and rounded monk collar elevate this shirt for everyday wear. The crisp, natural fabric in deep orange is distinctive and infinitely wearable. This Japanese fabric comprises cotton, ramie, and linen. Ramie is a cousin of linen; this bast fiber has been cultivated in Asia for thousands of years and is similar in structure to flax, the plant which linen comes from. The combination of natural fibers in this fabric is surprisingly strong but also possesses a unique, subtle texture. The fabric style is called "typewriter cloth," in reference to the tightness of the weave. It feels like a refined canvas; structured, hard-wearing, and subtly intriguing. This style can be worn open, fully or partially buttoned, or belted; the possibilities are endless.
